A dream come true for this Couple. Celebrate their Destination Wedding in a unique location and surrounded by the beauty of Lake Garda.
The Wedding day began in the rooms of Villa dei Campi in Salò, where the newlyweds and their guests prepared for the Wedding Ceremony.
After a short trip by motorboat from Salò, we arrived to the Isola del Garda. The ceremony location has an incredible view of Lake Garda. This location was expertly setted up by Wedding Planner Camilla Commendatore.
The ceremony was emotional and moving, surrounded by the beauty of nature and history.
During dinner, the newlyweds and their guests were able to savor the delicious dishes prepared by Villa dei Campi in Salò, at their beautiful country-chic table immersed in the fully decorated garden.

What is the best season to get married on the Isola del Garda?
On Lake Garda the weather is beautiful for the most part of the year! Certainly from April to September is the best period. in July and August unfortunately temperatures can be very hot. Definitely avoid winter or late autumn, from the end of October to the end of February. It can be very cold and sometimes foggy.
Where is Isola del Garda?
Isola del Garda is located right in the middle of Lake Garda. It can usually be reached from the town of Salò by motorboat or boat. Salò is located one hour from Verona and 2 hours from Milan.

It is possible to have a Civil or Symbolic ceremony with an officiant. The owners of Isola del Garda can organize everything, from catering to transfers. The music limit is 2am.
As regards the Wedding Photo Shoot on the Isola Del Garda, I advise you against having the ceremony when the sun is high. Unfortunately the light is too strong at 2pm and the shadows are harsh. The best time for the Wedding Ceremony on the Isola del Garda is sunset.

A tip from a Professional Wedding Photographer with years of experience: Take all the time you need for the Wedding Photoshoot on the Isola del Garda. NO RUSH and let your Wedding Photographer to express himself. Give it time!! At least 2 hours if it's fast.

In case of bad weather on the island of Garda where can we have the ceremony and party?
As Wedding Photographer on Isola Del Garda we worked many times but we have never faced bad weather. But We know for sure that the owners built a structure of around 300m2 in the park near the Villa.
Is there an hotel on the island or our guests have to stay far away?
There is no hotel on the island. As we explained in the previous FAQ, the best town to stay is Salò.
It is a characteristic little town on Lake Garda and there are some really beautiful hotels like Villa dei Campi. The boat ride is about 20 minutes and the dock is located right in the center of town. There are other towns such as Gardone and San Felice del Benaco.
